Our Mission...

“We exist to worship God by presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, creating a community where God’s love and true worship is present, and encouraging and equipping believers through the teaching of the Word of God for service and missions.”

 

 

 

Our Vision...

“The vision of Mt. Zion shall be to create a multi-racial and multi-national church community where the Spirit of the Lord is present to empower believers to fulfill the purpose for which God called them.”

 

 

Our fundamental beliefs...

 

THE SCRIPTURE/BIBLE: 

We believe that the Old and New Testament are the inspired, infallible, and inerrant word of God (John 1:1; II Timothy 3:6-7; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

 

GOD:

We believe that God is the One true God, yet three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; Acts 5:3-4).

 

JESUS CHRIST:

We believe that Jesus Christ is God's son. He was both human and divine (John 1:1, 14; I Tim 3:16; Phil. 2:5-6).

 

MAN:

We believe that man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis1:26,27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).

 

 

SALVATION:

We believe that salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke

24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7).

 

CHURCH:

We believe the church is a body of believers, of which Christ is the head, associating for worship, fellowship, instruction, evangelism, and service (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:25-28).

 

 

 

TWO SACRAMENTS

 

WATER BAPTISM

We believe in water baptism of believers by immersion (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4).

 

HOLY COMMUNION:

We believe that our covenant relationship with Christ (Matthew 26:28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34).

 

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit is for the edifying and perfecting the saints (Ephesians 4:12).

 

DIVING HEALING:

We believe that divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ (1 Peter 2:25; James 5:14-16).

 

TITHE AND OFFERING:

We believe that tithe and offering protect believers from the devourer (Malachi 3:8-12, Hebrew 7:2-5).

 

SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST:

We believe that Christ will literally return for his Church (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:15-17).
